Major Zahir’s life has been defined by dedication, achievement, and unwavering commitment to serving his country and empowering people with disabilities. Hailing from a military background, he retired as a Major from the Bangladesh Army, and his journey continues as the Fellowship Director at Nohor Initiatives.

With a background in military service, Major Zahir’s dedication to education and continuous learning has been unwavering. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honors, and his commitment to excellence is evident in his consistent top-ranking performance in all the academic and professional exams he has undertaken. This exceptional record reflects his passion for continuous improvement and knowledge acquisition.
Major Zahir’s life took an unexpected turn when he became a Spinal Cord Injury Patient. Instead of allowing this challenge to deter him, he used it as an opportunity to further his mission of making a difference in the lives of those with disabilities.

At Nohor Initiatives, Major Zahir spearheads the Digital Fellowship program, an extensive journey designed to empower individuals with disabilities through the mastery of diverse digital skills, professional training, and higher study opportunities. As the Fellowship Director, he takes a hands-on approach, overseeing the program from recruitment to its impact and the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities.
